The unusual success story of Patanjali, Baba Ramdev, and Yoga

1.Indian Product.

2.The packaging of a normal Indian product is not that Impressive taking Vikko ,Dabur into consideration , But packaging of Patanjali products is very good which makes customers think its a quality product.

3.Looks  expensive  but its pretty damn  cheap(since its good looking , looks like quality one, has majorly AYURVEDIC ingredients  it attracts urban people and since its cheap it attracts the middle class , lower middle class people which doubles their profits!)

4. #The most important,
Patanjali sells its products only in an exclusive  Patanjali shop and not in any supermarket, Generally supermarket has a variety of choices, which makes customers get  lured with the other foreign products which has branding etc that might make Patanjali products go unnoticed  . But inside an exclusive  Patanjali shop ,its kind of a monopoly market ,say you  buy a Patanjali soap but also there you see other Patanjali products which tempts you to try it out... Why? Good packaging and cheap, so we will think trying once is not gonna cost a fortune! We go for it and yes the product also satisfies us, which makes us to try out more products.
This one factor  has made customers fall for Patanjali products(Me too).

Recently people might have heard of Chennai floods which devastated Chennai, Due to the floods the  Patanjali shop near my locality was closed for quiet some time, People started to get mad since they were running out of their usual Patanjali products. Once the flood was gone and the shop opened, all the stocks which the shopkeeper had was over in just one day! Complete wash out!

5.The next thing is word of mouth, 85% of the marketing happened only through word of mouth, My family introduced Patanjali to 3 other families by offering them biscuits when they visited and slowly they started buying Patanjali biscuits. ...now  their entire  groceries and body care items are from Patanjali.
This is how it grew.
